
Peer Movement Project (PMP) is a studen-based advocacy group which provides resources and serves to create awareness of sexual health & decrease substance abuse among university enrolled African Americans. We operate within the offices of the Substance Abuse Resources & Disability Issues department at Wright State University's Boonshoft School of Medicine.
PMP is proud to announce its partnership with Central State University to provide valuable information and resources to college-enrolled African Americans.
We offer free regular confidential HIV / HEP C testing to Central State University and Wright State University students. Get results in 20 minutes!
Life on the Yard is a 6 week sexual health workshop designed to increase education and awareness of the sexual health and substance abuse issues that specifically impact African American college students. Weekly meetings for the program are interactive, informative and include free HIV / Hep C testing. Participants could recieve up to $80.00 in gift cards for partipation in surveys. PMP offers graduates of our 6 week Life on the Yard workshop the opportunity to spread awareness of sexual health and substance abuse issues on campus. These individuals will distribute possitive role-model stories of change as well as free condom distribution campus-wide
Students on campus have access to free, unlimited condoms through their campus peer advocates as well as at PMP events.
